Support HVAC Technicians
Assist with installation of heating and cooling systems, ductwork, and related equipment
Carry and stage tools, materials, and components
Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe
Learn the Trade
Participate in hands-on training and work alongside experienced technicians
Perform basic maintenance: change filters, clean coils, and lubricate parts
Gain skills in troubleshooting and repair
Use Tools & Stay Safe
Operate hand and power tools properly and safely
Report any equipment issues or safety concerns
Work as a Team
Follow direction from lead installers and supervisors
Communicate clearly and respectfully with team members and customers
A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in tight spaces (attics/crawlspaces)
Comfort working in varied weather conditions
High school diploma or GED (required)
HVAC knowledge or experience (a plus, but not required)

Swift Heating & A/C is looking for a reliable and driven HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. Whether you’re experienced or eager to grow into the role, we’ll equip you with the tools and training to succeed. Our techs are the face of Swift—trusted professionals who keep homes running comfortably and efficiently.

Diagnose and Repair:
Troubleshoot HVAC systems and identify issues quickly and accurately
Repair or replace faulty components (compressors, motors, thermostats, etc.)
Ensure systems are running safely and efficiently
Customer-Focused Service:
Communicate findings and options clearly to homeowners
Provide honest recommendations that prioritize the customer’s needs
Deliver 5-star service with professionalism and care
Routine Maintenance:
Perform seasonal tune-ups and preventative maintenance
Replace filters, clean coils, and test system performance
Record system details and provide follow-up recommendations
Team Communication:
Work with dispatch and office staff to complete jobs on schedule
Document service calls clearly using mobile app or provided paperwork
Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle
HVAC experience preferred (but we’ll train the right candidate)
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Able to work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoors in all seasons
EPA Certification (preferred) or willingness to obtain
High school diploma or GED
